We are seeking a professional to take on the role of Senior Asset Integrity Engineer at our Aluminium Smelter in Portland, Victoria. The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading Portland's Asset Integrity program.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering
  • A demonstrated commitment to Environment, Health and Safety
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to connect with and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
  • Hands-on coaching and support in executing systems and engineering processes
  • Motivation and desire to learn new skills and have a sound track record in proactive problem solving
  • Use of initiative and continuously improve business performance

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and documenting Portland Aluminium's Asset Integrity Equipment Management Strategies. You will also hold accountability for ensuring Portland Aluminium assets are fit for purpose and aligned to the Smelter's 10-year strategic plan.

Additional responsibilities include identifying long-term improvement opportunities with a focus on equipment reliability and capital advice, conducting asset management and equipment maintenance reviews, and identifying risk management strategies to reduce total cost of ownership.
