Civil Project Manager

Our client is a well-established civil contractor seeking experienced project managers to lead upcoming infrastructure projects in the Australian Capital Territory.

This role suits an experienced manager looking for a new challenge with a reputable contractor that prioritizes its people and respects its staff. Working closely with the senior management team, you will ensure daily production targets are met while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and Resource Management: Plan for all resources including plant, labor, materials, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Site Management and Construction: Oversee site operations and construction of civil works ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Program Management: Manage programs to meet deadlines and budgets while minimizing costs.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety protocols and conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare regular reports and forecasts on project progress, personnel, and expenditures to inform decision-making.
