Your new role

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will lead the design and documentation of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater drainage, and earthworks. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with national standards. This role is ideal for a well-rounded engineer who enjoys both technical challenges and team leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing civil engineering models using Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Coordinating design parameters with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Supporting project delivery across various sectors.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, authorities, and contractors.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A Bachelor of Engineering or Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in civil design, ideally within an Australian consultancy environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and a solid understanding of roads, drainage, and earthworks.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
