Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Project Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing comprehensive project plans and communicating them to stakeholders
  • Managing project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely execution and quality control
  • Monitoring and controlling construction programs, identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, managing site activities, and maintaining HSEQ requirements
  • Producing regular progress reports and managing client expectations
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • At least 8 years' experience in project delivery with a builder/head contractor, demonstrating leadership skills and expertise in construction management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements
