Site Foreman Position

This role requires a high-calibre individual with strong on-site experience, particularly in finishes, with a hands-on approach, trade background, and credibility gained from successfully completing building projects.

The ideal candidate will have the skills and qualifications to conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes, coordinate trades onsite, work with a site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards, and maintain Alder's strong reputation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety protocols;
  • Coordinate with various trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery;
  • Work closely with site managers to achieve project milestones and deadlines;
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to improve project efficiency and reduce costs;

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Foreman in a commercial construction environment;
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards;
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled tradespeople;
  • Physical stamina to perform site inspections and oversee construction activities;
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to worksites as required;
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry codes;
