Contract Specialist Role

This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to our Risk & Compliance team in Sydney.

You will review, analyze and manage contracts with clients and vendors/suppliers to ensure all agreements align with legal obligations, internal policies and regulatory standards.

Gaining exposure to contract management within a global legal environment, you will support both client and vendor relationships. Reporting to the Operational Risk Manager, you will be part of a team that values excellence, collaboration and inclusivity.

About You
  • 5+ years of experience in a legal, financial or professional services environment
  • Proven experience in contract analysis or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of contract law and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • High attention to detail and precision in capturing terms, obligations and deliverables
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate contract reviews to ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Document and track agreed terms and obligations
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Business Services teams for contractual understanding
  • Conduct due diligence on new vendors/suppliers in line with Dentons' Procurement Policy and Modern Slavery Act 2018
  • Maintain and manage the client and vendor contract database
  • Provide guidance on contract-related matters
  • Assist with audits, policy updates and compliance reporting
