Sensient Australia is a leading developer, producer, and supplier of natural and synthetic flavor and colour systems for customers around the country and within the Asia Pacific Region.

We are seeking a collaborative individual to work closely with the Commercial Group to leverage technical expertise in advancing and sustaining business growth within Australia's color business sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide Colour Technologists and Application Technologists in executing customer projects related to color.
  • Develop prototypes that showcase customer specifications and offer technical support throughout project lifecycles.
  • Deliver comprehensive technical guidance to external and internal stakeholders.
  • Translate data to non-technical audiences.
  • Maintain technical documentation for all products and application formulations.
  • Help develop product formulation prototypes with Sensient ingredients for commercial documents and presentations.
  • Design and deliver training and mentoring in the color category to build skills within the local Sensient Team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in general science or food science or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 10 years of project management experience.
  • Seven to ten years of technical experience in the food colorants industry with a strong understanding of finished formulations.
  • Prioritize building credibility as an industry authority.
