Responsibilities
  • Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to determine position specifications, providing relevant market data and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and departments to develop and manage recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies.
  • Evaluate candidate profiles against position requirements and deliver strong candidate slates, while building talent pipelines.
  • Act as a proactive Talent Acquisition partner, actively sourcing and engaging top talent beyond inbound applicants to drive a strong candidate pipeline for current and future business needs.
  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the process with timely updates on their progress.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to determine offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, human resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Significant recruiting experience in life sciences, with demonstrated successes in a corporate, RPO, or agency setting.
  • Familiarity with recruitment technologies and social media tools.
  • Knowledge of common Human Resources principles, practices, and metrics related to talent acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering high-caliber life sciences recruitment projects.

This role requires a hybrid setup, working 9AM to 6PM Australia Time. Location specifics include Central Melbourne, with English being the primary language of communication, although Japanese is also considered an asset.

As a mentor to Recruiters and other team members, you will provide consultative direction and industry expertise to hiring leaders. Your extensive knowledge of recruitment technologies and social media tools will be essential in developing and managing recruitment marketing and sourcing strategies.
