About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Activity Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

  • Design and deliver individualized and group activity programs that promote social interaction, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
  • Work collaboratively with care staff and families to tailor activities that meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents in planning and executing special events and outings.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity in program development, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of older adults' needs and preferences is essential, along with a minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within the aged care sector.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid NDIS clearance
  • Certificate in First Aid and CPR
  • Minimum 12 months of experience in a similar role within the aged care sector
