Expert Engineer for Naval Systems

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the Maritime and Defence industry. We are seeking skilled professionals to work on our Designer Support Contract, providing comprehensive design and engineering support to all naval ships in service.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Naval Architect / Aeronautical) and proven skills and experience in structural or naval architecture functions.
- Deliver structural systems design for naval ship systems, applying robust systems engineering processes.
- Perform first principle structural calculations to required standards.
- Undertake technical investigations, root cause analysis and solution identification.
You will be responsible for working effectively within a broader engineering team to engage with different disciplines in the development of new naval ship system designs. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to operate autonomously, and demonstrated ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments are highly desirable.
