Electrical Engineering Role
This role involves delivering electrical and controls systems for naval ships, including design, analysis, and implementation of medium voltage power systems. The successful candidate will have experience in a technical and industrial Defence environment, with skills in electrical engineering, project management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks concurrently, prioritising deadlines, and communicating effectively with colleagues and clients.

Job Description:
• Develop and maintain high-quality electrical designs, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate platform electrical and control systems into naval vessels.
• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, contributing to the development of new naval ship system designs.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in a technical and industrial Defence environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to produce clear and well-presented reports.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working with CAD/3D software packages, such as Micro-station or AUTOCAD.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, prioritise deadlines, and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Knowledge of technical shipbuilding regulations and Australian Defence standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances, with a flexible and proactive approach.
