Renewable Energy Sector Expansion Specialist

The ideal candidate will be based in one of the following APAC locations: Bangkok, Singapore, Melbourne, Taipei, or Tokyo.

Job Responsibilities

This role plays a strategic part in expanding the company's presence in renewable energy across the APAC region. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading business development initiatives focused on wind energy, identifying new opportunities and nurturing client relationships within the renewable energy ecosystem.
  • Promoting technical solutions to developers, manufacturers, financiers, and investors, tailoring proposals and presentations to diverse customer needs.
  • Developing and offering wind energy assessment-related solutions in collaboration with regional clients, leveraging deep market and technical insight.
  • Maintaining and expanding long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Liaising with technical and project execution teams to ensure smooth project handover and timely delivery of services.
  • Translating customer requirements into actionable commercial strategies and viable solutions.
  • Coordinating internal commercial, technical, and legal workflows for successful deal closures.
  • Overseeing project timelines and delivery quality by aligning internal resources with client expectations.
  • Representing the company at industry conferences, networking events, and business development meetings to enhance brand visibility and market intelligence.
  • Implementing best practices across commercial processes and incorporating lessons learned to continuously improve service quality and client experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong preference for wind energy exposure.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or client-facing roles within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong understanding of wind energy technologies, assessment methodologies, and market trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and project management tools.
  • Passion for clean energy and the advancement of the global energy transition.
