Senior Energy & Renewables Analyst (APAC)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Energy and Renewables Analyst to support the delivery of our global energy and sustainability strategy in the APAC region.

The successful candidate will be part of our team leading the Equinix Energy Procurement and Sustainability program, working closely with other project teams and stakeholders to provide strategic support and leadership to deliver the program in APAC.

This is a global role that requires heavy collaboration with teams and consultants across various countries and time zones. Occasional travel (10-20%) may be required for domestic and international meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day program and project management of key energy and renewable energy workstreams
  • Provide analytical support in assessing renewable energy PPA opportunities across the regional
  • Manage consultant relationships and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain necessary buy-in and approvals
  • Negotiate complex renewable energy agreements with the support of internal and external counsel
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in renewable energy procurement, origination, or project management
  • Knowledge of offsite and onsite PPAs, environmental commodities, carbon offsets, batteries, and fuel cells
  • Experience negotiating complex agreements with internal and external legal counsel
