Senior Event Manager

Bloomberg is seeking a highly skilled Senior Event Manager to join our Marketing team in Sydney. As a key member of our Global Event Team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing events that provide our attendees with an enriched and integrated Bloomberg experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategic event programs that are targeted at our audiences and integrated with other marketing tactics.
- Work closely with internal marketing partners to ensure that our events are creative and coordinated with the various digital and social platforms.
- Manage the creative process, including invites, event production, audio visual requirements, speaker management, show calling, overall logistics, and post-event administration.
- Execute virtual events on the chosen platform and lead domestic and international projects with multiple stakeholders from inception to delivery.
Requirements:
- At least 6+ years of events experience in a company or agency, with extensive experience planning and executing virtual and in-person events across APAC.
- Experience in providing event program strategic mentorship, including target audience experience mapping, event portfolio analysis, and integration with other marketing tactics.
- Technical savvy, with a pulse on the latest technology and competitive trends.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, regions, and with vendors.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
