About The Role

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team based in Canning Vale. This is a full-time permanent position with the flexibility to work from home with travel around WA and NT when required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercially successful outcomes for scope, time, budget, and quality.
  • Establish and implement effective project delivery systems and processes, coordinating teams to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor and report on productivity, drive performance, and implement strategies to improve programme and margin.
  • Act as the key contact and liaison between stakeholders on site, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including clients and sub-contractors.
  • Lead client reporting for the region and foster customer/client relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, electrical, or a related field.
  • Experience within the Telecommunications industry is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of contracts and Australian Construction Standards.
  • Sound knowledge of construction, project, and program controls principles and practices.
  • Excellent dispute resolution, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • A high level of motivation and commitment to improve work practices, systems, and procedures.
  • A flexible attitude to working hours to meet demand.
