About the Role

Ventia is seeking a highly skilled Field Inspector to join our team in Western Australia. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting audits and checks to ensure quality and compliance in our telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field assessments and audits to verify compliance with Ventia's quality standards
  • Collaborate with schedulers and project teams to complete tasks within the designated timeframe
  • Assess the fitness and safety of DUCTS and Pits
  • Ensure high-quality data input integrity
  • Direct rodding and roping crews to achieve productivity targets
  • Manage defects and complaints
  • Engage with stakeholders on work order progress

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction, civil industry, or telecommunications
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and construction processes
  • Ability to read and understand Telstra and NBN plans
  • Civil background with experience in directional drilling, ploughing, open trenching, ACM removal, pit, pipe, and optic fibre installation
  • Willingness to travel across Western Australia on a FIFO/DIDO roster
