About the Role

As a financial specialist, you will be tasked with enabling the finance team to deliver timely and accurate financial results and insights to the business. Your decision-making support will also benefit other functions of the company.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily tasks for the monthly accounting cycle, including month-end close
  • Contribute to month-end and quarter-end reporting packs
  • Prepare Income Tax returns with extensive knowledge in this area
  • Facilitate all external and internal audits
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and Inventory
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure correct treatment of all fixed overheads
  • Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting of Overhead areas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at various levels of the business
  • Role model Fisher & Paykel behaviours

You'll Need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification - ideally CPA or CA qualified
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with JD Edwards One World or similar integrated system desirable
  • Basic Access skills and DW Power BI software experience desirable
  • Financial analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting concepts and processes
  • Ability to clearly communicate key facts concisely and confidently
  • Ability to focus on high-value work and manage your own time effectively
  • Collaboration and participation in cross-functional problem-solving

The estimated salary for this role is $90,000-$110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
