Job Overview

Komatsu Australia is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the Regional Canberra and Snowy region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services to our clients in the area.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a salary range of AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as paid parental leave, technology discounts, and career development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Mobile Plant Mechanic Trade Certificate (Cert 3 Mobile Plant) complemented by mechanical fitter qualifications;
  • Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience, preferably with Komatsu equipment, and field service exposure, including breakdowns and diagnostics;
  • A minimum of C class Licence;
  • Auto Electrical experience, qualifications, and diagnostic skills;
  • Working at heights qualification would be great but not crucial;
  • Ability to follow required job scope & critical path;
  • Safety focused mindset is paramount;
  • Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to work unsupervised;
  • A proven high level of customer service.
