Lead Curriculum Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Lead Curriculum Specialist. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in shaping the future of education, working closely with colleagues to drive high-level learning outcomes and foster quality pedagogy within our Instrumental Music Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Support Instrumental Music teachers in curriculum implementation and delivery.
  • Ensure quality assurance processes related to the IM Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).
  • Drive recruitment and retention efforts to create an inclusive IM program.
  • Contribute to twice-yearly moderation and provide support to teachers across primary and high school levels.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualified for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Experience delivering the Queensland Instrumental Music Curriculum is highly desirable, or a strong growth mindset to acquire the relevant knowledge.
