Clinical Unit Lead

The Tasmanian Government is seeking an experienced and accomplished nurse to fill the role of Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) at the Launceston General Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring that high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with best practices and relevant legislation.
This challenging and rewarding role offers a competitive salary range of $130,203 to $136,295 per annum, as well as opportunities for professional development and accelerated pathways. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including payment of $15,000 staged over three years for nurses who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible service
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Managing physical, financial, and human resources effectively, ensuring that objectives are met and services are delivered efficiently
