Role Overview
As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be working in a patient-focused environment within the Surgical Ward at Calvary St Luke's Private Hospital.
This position is ideal for an experienced Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to patients and making a meaningful contribution to the healthcare sector.
About the Role
- You will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and report directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
- Your main duties will include participating in the delivery of a patient-centred model of care, performing medication administration tasks, and demonstrating competent and safe practice when administering medications.
- You will also have the opportunity to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and demonstrate your ability to communicate with colleagues and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- AHPRA Registration with a current practising certificate is required.
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting is essential.
- Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and communicate with colleagues are key requirements.
