Job Title: Engagement & Intake Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a highly respected organisation in the disability sector. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to develop and nurture meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, including Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), hospitals, allied health professionals, social workers, and community groups.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to leverage their professional network to facilitate participant growth and referrals. They will also have a strategic mindset, proactive attitude, and passion for achieving measurable growth.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for leading participant engagement meetings, ensuring clear communication and tailored support. You will also oversee and streamline the participant intake process from initial contact to service commencement, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

We are looking for someone who is genuinely dedicated to person-centred care principles and continuous improvement. If you have a minimum of 2 years' experience in engagement, business development, support coordination, or intake coordination, we want to hear from you

About the Role:
  • Develop and nurture meaningful relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Actively represent the organisation at events, networking functions, and community meetings.
  • Lead participant engagement meetings and ensure clear communication and tailored support.
  • Oversee and streamline the participant intake process.
  • Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, LACs, hospitals, allied health professionals, social workers, and community groups.
  2. Networking and Events: Represent the organisation at events, networking functions, and community meetings to build brand awareness and generate referrals.
  3. Participant Engagement: Lead participant engagement meetings, ensuring clear communication and tailored support.
  4. Intake Process: Oversee and streamline the participant intake process from initial contact to service commencement.
  5. Growth Opportunities: Identify and cultivate new growth opportunities and referral sources.
