Job Title: Mental Health Intake Specialist

The Mental Health Intake Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments, intake services, and service linkage to young people and their caregivers via telephone or virtual care. This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to negotiate and think critically.

This is a key position within our multidisciplinary team, working closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care to our clients.

  • Utilise telephone contact/virtual care to provide assessment, intake, and service linkage
  • Work within an experienced multidisciplinary team

This role requires:

  • A qualification in Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, or Counselling
  • Confidence in clinical decision making and demonstrated experience in bio-psycho-social-cultural assessment and mental health risk assessment
