Key Role: Data Analyst Actuary

This is a unique opportunity to work with a highly respected organisation that provides services and supports to thousands of individuals across Australia.

The successful candidate will provide expert statistical, analytical and/or actuarial advice to senior management and stakeholders. They will develop a comprehensive understanding of the business context, goals and key performance indicators.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing statistical, analytical and/or actuarial advice to senior management and stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the business context, goals and key performance indicators
  • Oversight and project management of regular and ad-hoc reporting, analysis and data management activities
  • Leadership and development of junior team members

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Relevant academic qualifications in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics or other equivalent disciplines
  • Proven experience using SAS and/or R for statistical modelling
