Job Overview:

The position of Data Manager is crucial for the Defence Sector, requiring a professional with expertise in developing and implementing effective data management frameworks.

Responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across technical, engineering, and logistics domains.

This involves managing structured and unstructured data, including technical documentation, drawings, and specifications throughout the system lifecycle.

Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to optimise data governance and utilisation, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and information flow.

Australian Citizenship is required for this role, as well as NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain) for enhanced job satisfaction.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 3–5 years' experience in data management within Defence or a highly regulated technical environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and written communication abilities
