Key Role: Data ArchitectAs a key member of our team, you will be working closely with the Chief Information Officer Division (CIOD) and managers and users within the Legal Metrology and Physical Metrology Branches to support the delivery of a major IT enhancement project.Job Description:

  • Map existing data holdings, inputs and dependencies impacted by the project.
  • Investigate and recommend optimisation of the use of data holdings for the different streams of the project.
  • Design and implement data architecture and integration frameworks that enable best practice data lifecycle management and ensure compliance with relevant standards, policies and regulations.
  • Design and implement documentation to support renewed data processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise existing reporting processes, including setting standards for data accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of revised and renewed data processes, adapting the approach when new information is presented.
