Project Development Lead

A leading energy business is seeking a highly skilled Project Development Lead to spearhead the development phase of solar, BESS and wind projects in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project development process, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Oversee planning, permitting and regulatory compliance across all projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including landowners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive front-end activities, including technical requirements, commercials and environmental assessments

The ideal candidate will possess a degree qualification (technical) and approximately 5 years or more experience in utility scale renewable energy project development - specifically within solar and BESS. They will be commercially focused with a passion for business development and stakeholder management, familiar with Australian regulatory standards and compliance relating to developing Utility Scales renewable projects and connecting them to the network.
