Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the new and existing artist studios, including onboarding new resident artists.
  • Lead the development of a long-term studio facility with the State Government.
  • Open and operate the PAS dedicated First Nations Studio at PAS Granville.
  • Contribute to the City Culture Leadership Team to support the development of the COP Cultural Strategy and deliver a new Cultural Project Portfolio.
  • Manage the artist residency program, artwork commissions, exhibition partnerships, and public programs.
  • Collaborate with other teams and units to enhance the cultural life of the city.
About You

We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for the arts and a commitment to supporting emerging artists. The successful candidate will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Arts, or Cultural Development, or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in budget preparation, financial control, and resource management.
  • Experience in data analysis and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of the arts, cultural, or entertainment industry sectors.
