Job Title: Judicial Support Specialist

Role Overview

As a Judicial Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Court facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and prepare courtrooms for hearings and other proceedings
  • Coordinate the exchange of documents and evidence between parties
  • Swear in witnesses and administer oaths as required
  • Operate and maintain courtroom technology, including video conferencing equipment
  • Support digital litigation practices and assist with online hearings and live streaming
Selection Criteria
  • Courtesy and Client Service: Demonstrate exceptional courtesy and professionalism when interacting with clients, Judges, Registrars, and other Court staff
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve our Court operations and services
  • Excellence in Professional Practice and Procedure: Ensure accurate and timely compliance with work procedures and provide sound procedural advice where necessary
  • Working Relationships & Leadership: Foster effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors to achieve common goals and objectives
