About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a First Nations Employment Consultant.

As a First Nations Employment Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping thousands of Aussies get into employment. You will work closely with clients, supporting them with culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable, ongoing employment.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups, and have a deep understanding of the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work closely with clients to develop tailored plans that create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment.

  • Empower clients by positively developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment and provide support to employers and participants.

Requirements:
  • You must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
  • A current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence may be required.
  • A comprehensively insured vehicle may be required.
  • Willingness to complete a National Police check.
  • Ability to obtain a MyID (standard level).
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
