Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the regional and global security teams to ensure seamless support for clients.
- Maintain adherence to customer and corporate standards, ensuring compliance with industry and federal government security regulations.
- Contribute to the development of process documentation, procedural guidelines, and quality control measures.
- Drive innovation by implementing process improvements and streamlining existing processes.
- Administer access control to mainframe systems, ensuring secure access and data protection.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues requiring in-depth analysis and evaluation of multiple factors.
- Participate in vendor and platform upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing downtime.
- Manage SSL certificates within the mainframe environment, maintaining optimal security and performance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through regular audits and cyclic assessments.
- Perform application and agency-level access control using ACF2/RACF, adhering to strict access management protocols.
- Provide on-call support during off-hours escalations, serving as a primary point of contact for technical queries.
- Act as a subject matter expert, facilitating business interactions and providing technical guidance.
- Offer level 3 support and problem management expertise, escalating complex issues to vendors or manufacturers when necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in cybersecurity.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in mainframe security.
- Thorough understanding of ACF2/RACF security architecture and its applications.
- Proficient knowledge of Unix in z/OS and related technologies.
- Working experience with NetMaster/MAI and SOLVE.
- Skills in JCL, SAS, Clist, and/or REXX programming languages.
- Familiarity with CICS/IMS/DB2/MQ is an asset.
- Knowledge of CONTROLM processes and certificate management.
- Experience with working with auditors, particularly SOX and SOC1.
- Working knowledge of ticketing systems, preferably SNOW.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with Excel skills being essential.
- Understanding of Essential 8 standards and best practices.
- Relevant Information Security certification (CISSP/CCNA).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
