Project Manager - Commercial Fit Out Specialist Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of our commercial fit out projects in Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Implement and maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, guaranteeing a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved efficiently.
  • Closely collaborate with the project team to review plans, specifications, and construction documents, fostering effective communication.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards, promoting excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and site records, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, building strong relationships.
  • Manage and control project costs, including procurement, tracking expenses, and monitoring budget allocation, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project, employing effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Ensure the project is handed over smoothly, conducting final inspections, snagging, and documentation processes, guaranteeing client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager on Commercial Fit Out projects $5M - $25M, with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations.
  • QBCC licence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, inspiring teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, navigating complex challenges with confidence.
  • Sound understanding of project management principles, including cost control, scheduling, and quality management, applying expertise to drive project success.
