Commercial Fit Out Project Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled project lead to oversee the successful execution of commercial fit out projects between Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site activities, including subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Implement and maintain adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, guaranteeing a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved, minimizing delays and costs.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to review plans, specifications, and construction documents, ensuring alignment and efficient execution.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and site records, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, fostering positive relationships and resolving conflicts promptly.
  • Manage and control project costs, including procurement, tracking expenses, and monitoring budget allocation, ensuring financial prudence and responsibility.
  • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during the project, applying effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ensure the project is handed over smoothly, conducting final inspections, snagging, and documentation processes, guaranteeing client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a project lead on Commercial Fit Out projects with similar scopes and complexities.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and industry best practices, enabling informed decision-making and efficient project delivery.
  • QBCC licence and relevant certifications, demonstrating commitment to professional development and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, empowering teams to work collaboratively and effectively towards shared goals.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, allowing for swift and informed response to emerging project challenges.
  • Sound understanding of project management principles, including cost control, scheduling, and quality management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Any other relevant qualifications, certifications, and licenses are highly desirable, enhancing the candidate's overall skill set and value proposition.
