Key Role Summary
The Payroll Manager is a critical leadership position that oversees the entire payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees. This role involves leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, and providing strategic expertise in payroll operations.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Govern the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring compliance with Australian laws, registered Enterprise Agreements, and ESTA policies.
- Build and lead a high-performing payroll team, fostering capability, morale, and performance.
- Advise internal stakeholders on complex payroll matters, benefits, compensation, and compliance.
- Continuously improve payroll administration, processing functions, and system utilization.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Payroll Management or related discipline.
- Considerable experience managing a payroll team and end-to-end payroll functions.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Extensive experience using ADP Payforce and managing a rostered workforce.
