Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our telehealth team.

This role plays a crucial part in the delivery of patient-centered care via phone calls and video conferencing. You will work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients nationwide.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing attentive and holistic care to patients over the phone.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including progress notes, care plans, and medication charts.
  • Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals and patients for clear and empathetic communication.
  • Educating patients on health-related topics, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
  • Monitoring medications and dosage, observing patients for adverse reactions and reporting concerns to relevant authorities.
  • Collaborating with audit teams to review findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Managing the recall process for pathology results, ensuring timely notifications, follow-up instructions, and scheduling consultations as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
  • Prior experience in nursing through telehealth.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients over the phone, ensuring they feel supported throughout their health journey.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
  • Effective collaboration within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and standards in healthcare.
