McCormick, a leading food manufacturing site in Australia, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and improving processes within our growing co-manufacturer business. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure their products meet our rigorous quality and food safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Advise co-manufacturers on technical and quality matters, ensuring seamless processes for new product development (NPD) and risk-based audits.
  • Compliance Champion: Conduct audits, review performance, and make sure new co-manufacturers meet our high standards of quality.
  • Imported Goods Oversight: Manage the inspection and release of incoming imported finished goods (IFIP) to meet Australian Quarantine requirements and ensure product integrity.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present detailed monthly reports, communicate key issues and improvements with stakeholders, and lead feedback sessions with co-manufacturers.
  • Safety First: Foster a culture of care, focusing on food safety and quality in every aspect of the supply chain.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supplier quality management, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail.
