Transport Engineer Position

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Transport Engineer to fill a key role in our transport team. This individual will work closely with clients to provide traffic and transportation solutions that benefit the community.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on various projects, including site inspections, traffic surveys, and data analysis using tools like Excel and SIDRA Intersection modelling.

  • Undertaking site visits and gathering information on road conditions, traffic flow, and safety observation.
  • Planning, coordinating, and conducting traffic surveys.
  • Preparing and administering questionnaires to gather relevant information.
  • Analysing traffic data using advanced software such as SIDRA.
  • Providing expert advice on intersection and parking layouts based on thorough assessments.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to address road safety concerns.

To be successful in this position, you must possess:

  • A degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a transport engineering capacity, preferably with knowledge of industry-standard software.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or government agency, handling similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of best practices, industry trends, and current legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
