Senior Road Safety Research Lead

This is a key leadership role within our team, responsible for overseeing research and evaluation initiatives to inform strategic road safety decisions.
The Senior Road Safety Research Lead will be instrumental in developing and managing a comprehensive research program aimed at improving road safety outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing research projects to identify effective road safety strategies.
- Providing high-level advice on road safety investments and policy direction.
- Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance departmental interests.
- Managing the implementation of business plans, including financial management and personnel administration.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree or post-graduate qualification in behavioural sciences or a related field.
- Significant experience in leading teams and managing research programs.
In addition to your qualifications and experience, you will also require a criminal history check prior to appointment.
