As a leader in the renewable energy industry, we are committed to creating a future where everyone has access to affordable, zero carbon energy.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our solar plant projects.

The successful candidate will have strong electrical knowledge and experience in Operations and Maintenance of utility scale solar or renewable projects.

They will lead a team of technicians and contractors, ensuring safety standards are met and operational continuity is maintained.

We require a strong background in electrical engineering, with knowledge of Power Electronics for utility scale renewable projects.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are also essential.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Operations and Maintenance, with a proven track record of delivering safe and efficient results.

Electrical Qualification (Diploma/degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics) or other technical training is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and leading a strong WHSEQ and Zero Harm culture on site.
  • Ensuring full compliance with site-specific and company-wide WHSEQ requirements.
  • Supervising and monitoring WHSEQ performance of internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensuring all plant, equipment, tools, and PPE are fit for purpose and used correctly.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leading ongoing maintenance planning and execution.
  • Coordinating daily and weekly work plans to meet contractual requirements.
  • Completing, reviewing, and maintaining Preventative Maintenance Plans (PMP) via the CMMS system.

This role requires regular travel between sites and head office, with the ability to stay away from home for short durations at a time.
