Project Lead

The primary objective of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive production schedule across all project phases. This includes partnering with sales teams to accurately forecast upcoming projects and establish precise lead times for quoting and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule, ensuring seamless integration with sales forecasts and production planning.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to refine forecasting methodologies and improve overall accuracy.
  • Coordinate engineering, design, procurement, manufacturing, inspections, freight, and production schedules to optimise resource allocation.
  • Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and proactively address any issues that may impact project timelines.
  • Provide regular updates and lead production scheduling meetings to ensure effective communication and alignment among stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by refining scheduling processes and promoting best practices in production planning.
About You:
  • Proven experience in production planning and scheduling within complex, multi-stage project environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve production disruptions.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering quality results.
  • Clear understanding of how operational inputs feed into the production schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • High integrity and a customer-centric mindset, balancing project priorities with business goals.
  • Experience using MS Project, ERP, or similar production planning tools.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and process optimisation.
  • Self-motivation and ability to independently lead production scheduling functions and prioritise tasks to achieve objectives.
