About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Events Manager to drive revenue growth for AccorHotel through Meetings & Events business, social events, and weddings. This role focuses on managing local hotel accounts, nurturing return guests, and assisting the Portfolio Sales team in seeking new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Conversion: Collaborate with the Portfolio Sales team to quote and convert Meeting & Events, social events, and weddings, ensuring revenue targets are met.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies in conjunction with the Portfolio Sales team to achieve business goals.
  • Lead Management: Follow up on sales leads with an effective trace system to convert potential and lapsed business, and generate monthly sales lead reports for the Portfolio Sales team.
  • Team Leadership: Drive and champion the onsite hotel team to exceed Meetings & Events targets, ensuring efficiency and minimizing errors.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor regional competitors and advise the Portfolio Sales team on relevant adjustments to current sales strategies.
  • Loyalty Programs: Leverage Accor's loyalty programs, including Accor Live Limitless and ALL Meeting Planner, to enhance performance and drive business.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of client events, ensuring satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Reporting & Communication: Prepare weekly reports detailing upcoming events, and chair the weekly onsite Meetings & Events order meetings.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Lead by example with a hands-on approach to setting up, servicing, and packing down events, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Flexibility & Presence: Be adaptable with working hours to meet business demands and maintain an active presence within the hotel as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and events management, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Meetings & Events industry, with a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of sales systems, including ANAIS.
  • A proactive approach to business development and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
