Urban Infrastructure Planner Role for EBR

EBR is seeking an experienced Urban Infrastructure Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in delivering private sector approvals with diversity of scale across a range of markets.

About the Role:

  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of professionals, including mentoring, coaching and providing technical guidance.
  • Private Sector Approvals: Deliver private sector approvals with diversity of scale across a range of markets.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to support master planning, precinct planning or regional planning outcomes.
  • Infrastructure Planning: Utilise a strong appreciation of the role infrastructure in land use planning.
  • Project Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare reports to exceptional technical and editorial standards.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Manage commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Building: Improve or build key client relationships.

About the Candidate:

  • Experience: Experience in NSW undertaking statutory and strategic planning.
  • Qualifications: Minimum bachelor's degree in an appropriate field.
  • Leadership Skills: An ability to lead and motivate high performing teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communicator and natural collaborator.
  • Client Focus: A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Current Drivers Licence: Current drivers licence.
  • Additional Skills: Experience navigating DA's, SSD's, or in undertaking strategic planning at precinct or development scale is highly regarded.
