As an Urban Planning Specialist at Ethos Urban, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects with prominent clients in the industry. You will be responsible for leading deliverables, including development approvals, planning scheme amendments, and provision of strategic advice.


Our ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of urban planning experience, a Tertiary qualification in Planning or a related degree, and excellent communication skills. They will also be well-versed in the NSW planning framework and have experience preparing considered strategic frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and contribute to the preparation of fee proposals and tender submissions.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, manage sub-consultants, and deliver projects.
  • Develop your skills in project management, delegation, and supervision by managing junior staff members.
  • Build on existing stakeholder relationships and networks to achieve positive results for clients.
  • Collaborate with economists, urban designers, social planners, project managers, and community & stakeholder engagement professionals to develop a broader skillset.
