As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in providing strategic financial guidance across the Technology function.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the reporting, forecasting and governance of both BAU and project-related technology spend, while playing a critical part in shaping business cases, vendor negotiations, and strategic resourcing decisions.

As a trusted partner to the Technology Leadership Team, you will ensure financial outcomes align with business priorities and support the successful delivery of key technology investments.

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Technology, ensuring alignment with business strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Deliver accurate and timely reports, budgets and forecasts with clear articulation of risks, opportunities and drivers.
  • Act as a trusted finance partner across the function, delivering financial insights, influencing decisions and supporting delivery of commercial targets.

Other essential duties include deep diving on financial and operations analysis to uncover business performance drivers, identify opportunities and support continuous improvement, evaluating business initiatives through business cases, white papers and post implementation reviews, and supporting long term planning and strategic goal setting.

A strong candidate will have 10+ years' experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role, specifically partnering with Technology, hold a Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or CFA), and possess proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success.

Commercial Finance Manager Role

Key Accountabilities

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide high-quality financial planning and analysis to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
  2. Reporting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports and forecasts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  3. Business Partnership: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including Technology leadership, IT teams, and other business units.
Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA or CFA)
  • 10+ years' experience in a Commercial Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner role, specifically partnering with Technology
  • Proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success
