Job Description

Reporting directly to the CFO, the FP&A Manager is a highly influential and collaborative role. As the 2IC in Finance alongside the Financial Controller, the role will oversee reporting and analysis suites key to driving business performance, including the IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 BI tool. The FP&A & Pricing Analysis arm will have three direct reports: the Management Accountant, FP&A Analyst, and Pricing Analyst. This role will interact closely with the Sales & Operational arm of the business as part of broader areas such as strategy formulation, process establishment, and business improvement initiatives.

• Interpreting financial and other metrics and providing insights on trends and underlying drivers
• Weekly sales and working capital reporting and analysis
• Overseeing monthly Group Management Reporting and Divisional/Segment Packs
• Weekly cash forecasting
• IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 BI Tool management – data integrity, super user, and managing outsourced support
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, engaging senior managers to define strategies and build finance operating plans
• Business partnering – feasibility, resource and asset utilization, pricing analysis
• Continuous liaison with the CFO, CEO and department heads
• Managing and coaching the Pricing & Master Data Analyst
• Managing and coaching the Assistant Management Accountant & Management Accountant
• Leading key FP&A projects and business improvement initiatives
• Working closely with the FC and CFO on business improvement and other initiatives

Qualifications

You will be a fully qualified CA / CPA member with experience in a similar Senior FP&A role, able to operate effectively in a high-performance, fast-paced team. You will have a proven track record of delivering best-practice financial systems and reporting analysis, coupled with collaborative and hands-on business partnering skills.

• Advanced experience in BI tools (IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, Power BI, Adaptive Insights)
• Commercial acumen with ability to identify trends and provide ongoing insights on key drivers
• Stakeholder management and strong in-person presentation skills

In addition, you should be flexible in your approach and able to adapt communication styles to various business units and professional backgrounds.
