About the Role

The Business Development Director is a key position at Objective, responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the public sector and regulated industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including government officials, CEOs, and CIOs.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to understand business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage and execute long sales cycles, leveraging corporate sales tools and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to respond to tenders, bids, and opportunities to grow revenue.
Requirements
  • Proven sales ability, including outstanding negotiation skills and ability to persuade at all levels of business.
  • Experience in Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, or Challenger Selling methodologies.
  • Consultative approach to selling with highly developed interpersonal/relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced user of corporate sales tools, including Salesforce and TAS.
