About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Onboarding Specialist to own merchant application processing across PayEngine processors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day onboarding process, from application submission to account activation. This role requires exceptional focus on process and Service Level Agreement (SLA) deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed operations-based SLA targets
  • Act with a sense of urgency when engaging with processors, partners, or merchants
  • Effectively communicate time limitations when necessary to partners or merchants
  • Immediately raise at-risk SLA deliverables to line management
  • Be a subject matter expert on all PayEngine processors' standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Own, maintain, and update assigned onboarding SOPs
  • Be a merchant advocate to the processor when necessary
  • Maintain accurate application pipeline records within all internal systems
  • Understand potential onboarding issues and proactively take steps to avoid undesirable onboarding situations
  • Execute application processing management, including submitting and managing application submissions to processors, keeping up-to-date records in all internal systems, and communicating application processing challenges through proper channels
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of merchant services application processing experience with a top-tier e-commerce processor or equivalent
  • SaaS payments orchestration experience a plus
  • Standard Operating Procedures development and maintenance experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Google Suite tools, including Drive, Gmail, Calendar, and Sheets
  • Proficient with updating Jira boards and/or Confluence pages
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems a plus
  • Excellent task management, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to operate independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team and meet or exceed deadline requirements
