The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients, directing them to the appropriate area, answering phone calls, checking patients in and out, and collecting payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly answer and direct all incoming phone calls
  • Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
  • Verify and update patient demographics
  • Obtain and enter patient insurance information
  • Schedule patients according to clinic protocol
  • Prepare charts and print encounter tickets prior to patient visit
  • Confirm appointments and document responses
  • Receive and upload laboratory results into the patient's e-chart
  • Collect outstanding balances and process referrals

Hospital Policies and Expectations:

  • Adhere to organization-wide policies and procedures
  • Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital's Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations
  • Perform within the hospital's Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines
