Support Worker Role Overview

Our organisation is seeking a Support Worker to play an essential role in empowering people with disability.

Job Description

This support worker role involves providing community services to assist clients to be actively involved in their local community, engaged in meaningful opportunities and build relationships.

  • Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle.
  • Working to behaviour support plans by utilising positive behaviour strategies.
  • Assisting and supporting clients with personal and hygiene care.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts a day including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays.
  • Ability to support others with personal and hygiene care.
  • Current Australian driver's licence.
  • First Aid and CPR certificate.
  • NNSW Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect.
