Job Opportunity: Custody Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our custody operations team as a Custody Operations Specialist.

About the Role:
  • This role involves actively utilizing internal and external systems for settlement-related activities, including pre-matching, settlement, and monitoring processes.
  • You will be responsible for investigating and managing trade exceptions throughout the trade lifecycle.
  • Your primary task will be to enter and process new trades into the system to ensure timely completion.
  • As a key member of our team, you will help drive a continuous improvement mindset, delivering key changes and improvements to processes and procedures.
  • You will review and resolve reconciliation exceptions.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders is also a crucial aspect of this role, ensuring efficient and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this position.
  • A strong team player with the ability to prioritize needs while meeting tight deadlines is required.
  • Experience in an operations environment with a good understanding of workplace processes, systems, and operational risk is highly valued.
  • Custody or settlement (securities or cash) experience is highly regarded.
